Welcome To Kat's Corner - December 2025

Well, here we are at the last Kat’s Corner of 2025 and I’m so grateful for all of you that have read the last seven months of my updates. I look forward to continuing these updates in 2026. I’ve also loved hearing your feedback and comments on Kat’s Corner when I see you all! It’s such a great way for us all to stay connected. 

As we round up 2025, I can’t help but be so proud of the accomplishments of this year including groundbreaking on Scriber Place, repaying our Social Investors, bringing on new partners like Stewardship Development and many more exciting happenings. We also reflect on changes within the organization, like the sunsetting our beloved GroundWorks program. While we will continue to have to balance challenges with wins, Housing Hope will stand the test of time. We will be here to provide housing for over 1500 individuals every night in Snohomish County. 

The current challenges we face are not easy or simple by any means but we will absolutely rise to meet those challenges because we, Housing Hope, is so needed in our community. Each and everyone of you is part of the reason we are here today and will continue to be here tomorrow, and the next day and the next and well…you get the picture. 

I wish you all a happy and safe holiday season and New Year. I look forward to another year of Housing Hope and Kat’s Corner updates in 2026.
