Imagine hearing from the future: a future shaped by the choices you made ten years ago. Today is 2035, and I’m writing to share just how transformative your support has been.

Back in 2025, we were standing at a crossroads: two organizations, Housing Hope and HopeWorks, sharing a common mission to end the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
When we came together as one, it wasn’t just a merger. It was a transformation. And thanks to your support, we emerged stronger, more stable, and more impactful than ever before. Thank you for standing with us to make a difference in Snohomish County.
Over the last ten years, your support has made an incredible impact:

Scriber Place is thriving.
Once just an idea, today, it’s home to 52 families, on surplus land from the Edmonds School District. This bold collaboration tackled a heartbreaking truth: over 700 families in the district were experiencing homelessness. Now, dozens of students have a warm bed to rest in, a quiet corner to study, and the comfort of being able to grow up without fear. It’s more than housing. It’s hope made real.

Our first community for older adults is flourishing.
The Everett United Church of Christ project now provides stable, affordable housing for 60 senior households, a growing, often overlooked population. A strong sense of connection has formed, with neighbors building supportive relationships that help everyone feel more at home. Cheerful voices and warm laughter fill the halls during weekly game nights in the community room. Aging in place, with dignity and support, is now a reality for our residents.

Tomorrow’s Hope has a new home and a bigger future.
In 2026, we broke ground on a new facility for Tomorrow’s Hope Child Development Center, and today, it’s a vibrant, welcoming space that now serves over 300 children across Snohomish County—150 more than before! Giggles erupt from the playground as kids run, play, and discover together in a safe and joyful environment. Early education, trauma-informed care, and support for parents continue to be pillars of our holistic approach.

Our Job Training Program has doubled in size.
Back in 2025, we served about 125 people annually. Today, we’re proud to serve 250 trainees every year, with four new pathways in high-demand industries, like construction, logistics, and healthcare. In our workshops, trainees build everything from hands-on carpentry projects to real-world healthcare simulations, gaining skills that lead directly to employment. When we say “wraparound support,” this is what we mean: real jobs, real skills, real futures.

The impact of stable housing is best told through the words of those who have lived it. One of our residents shared:
“It’s been ten years since I first moved into stable housing, and the changes in my life have been nothing short of extraordinary. Back then, I was a single mom with next to nothing, just determination and a deep love for my son.
Today, I’m a proud graduate with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, working full-time at a company I once only dreamed about. My credit score is solid, my savings account is growing, and the medical debt that once kept me up at night is long gone.
But the real joy? I’m now a homeowner. Every day, we walk through a door that stability made possible. And every time he picks up a model airplane or talks about building rockets, I know he sees a future full of possibility, just like I did when you believed in us ten years ago.”
(Success story based on quotes from a current Housing Hope resident)
And most importantly, our community is stronger than ever.
By uniting two missions into one shared vision, we’ve built not just organizational strength, but a deeper, more connected community—one rooted in compassion, equity, and opportunity. Because you believed in this work in 2025, thousands of lives have changed in 2035.
We hope you’ll continue to walk with us into the next decade. The need hasn’t disappeared, but neither has the community of people willing to meet it with courage and compassion.

Right now, your gift can go twice as far!
A generous group of supporters has created a $110,000 match pool, meaning every dollar you give will be doubled, up to that amount. That’s twice the housing, twice the job training, and twice the hope. Please give generously and make a lasting impact.
Thank you for making all of this possible. Thirty-eight years after our founders took the first step, you carry their vision forward as the next generation of Housing Hope donors.
This is your legacy, too.

With Gratitude,
