We Broke Ground!

What an incredible day we shared on October 1st at the groundbreaking of Scriber Place!

The atmosphere was filled with hope and encouragement as we gathered to celebrate a vision that began exactly five years ago — with just one email — and has grown into something so much bigger than any one of us. Together, we are building a first-of-its-kind housing community in Washington State, created especially for children and families who need it most.

We couldn’t have asked for a more fitting day. Even the pouring rain waited until after the speakers finished and cleared again before everyone headed home, as if the skies themselves were cheering us on.

Thank you to every partner, supporter, and neighbor who came out to stand with us. Because of you, 52 families will have not just a roof over their heads, but a place to belong, to grow, and to thrive. Scriber Place is more than housing — it’s hope, and it’s a promise to our kids and families that this community sees them and cares for them.
