Hello Housing Hope Supporters!
It has been some time since the last edition of Kat's Corner, and that is because we are experiencing exciting changes and developments here. We are grateful for your continued support as we navigate these happenings and look forward to sharing the progress with you.
Property Management Change
Housing Hope and Coast Property Management have mutually agreed to conclude their partnership regarding the management of our property portfolio. Starting April 1, 2026, Ad West Realty will take over property management responsibilities for Housing Hope. Based in Bellevue, WA, Ad West Realty is a family-owned business dedicated to working with mission-driven organizations and brings extensive experience and expertise in affordable housing. We are enthusiastic about this new opportunity and partnership. For the next two weeks, Housing Hope leadership will meet with tenants to inform them of the change and answer questions about what to expect. Please join us in welcoming Ad West Realty to the Housing Hope team.
Alliance Place Capital Funding
Our Alliance Place housing project, located at the Lynnwood Light Rail Station, has been awarded $2 million in pre-development funding by the Washington State Legislature. This means that, combined with previous funding from the Amazon Housing Equity Fund, we now have $5 million in pre-development support. With this funding secured, we are preparing to submit applications to construct 157 affordable housing units adjacent to the Lynnwood Light Rail.
Community of Hope
We would like to thank everyone who attended the Community of Hope event on February 25th at the Feather Ballroom in Snohomish. Attendance was at a record high, with just under two hundred people joining us for an evening filled with joy and inspiration. Highlights included hearing from Lauren Pease, our grants administrator, and Kristina Doherty, one of our valued Family Support Coaches, who shared a moving success story. The dessert dash was a remarkable success, raising a total of $15,000. Overall, it was a wonderful evening dedicated to supporting our East County properties and helping send children to camp this summer. We are thrilled to announce that we raised a record total of $65,000. Thanks to Tara Helm and the Feather Ballroom staff for such a successful event. Thanks to all of you who were able to fill out an event survey so that we can improve upon next year's event.

Stone Soup is almost here!
Stone Soup will be on a Friday night, May 15, at 5:30 pm at the Tulalip Resort. We have a very inspiring program again this year, featuring students and staff from the Edmonds School District who will share stories and excitement about the first housing community built on school district property in Washington State. Scriber Place will have fifty-four units of dedicated housing for students and families experiencing homelessness in the Edmonds School District. Learn more about how Housing Hope is building this unique community and why we think this model is significant for our future housing development.
