Kat's Corner - November 2025

As we head into the holiday season, I want to take a moment to share why our Year-End Appeal is so critical every year—and especially this year. As many of you know, our housing portfolio has faced significant challenges, including unusually high delinquencies. As we close out 2025, our budget reflects the impact of these pressures. While we continue working diligently to change this trajectory, year-end donations will help us bridge the gaps we are experiencing right now.

Last year, our community helped raise an incredible $377,000. This year, we are aiming for $400,000, and I’m grateful to the generous donors who stepped forward early with a $125,000 match to inspire others to give.

Housing Hope donors truly are the best. I want our community to know that your investment in us is sound, and that your support fuels our mission every single day. One of the most meaningful parts of the Year-End Appeal is the opportunity it gives us to express our deep gratitude to the entire Snohomish County community. Practicing gratitude doesn’t just enhance our happiness—it strengthens our resilience, helping us stay focused on solutions for our region’s greatest challenges.
