CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK
Housing Hope requires all applicants to undergo criminal records investigations once a verbal offer of employment has been given and prior to employment. If a verbal offer of employment is made, an additional criminal history information form will be required. A criminal background result may not necessarily bar me from employment and will be considered in compliance with Washington State law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
I certify the information given by me is true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that, if employed, false or misleading information may result in immediate dismissal.
I authorize Housing Hope to solicit information regarding my character, general reputation, credit, previous employment, driving history (when a condition for employment) and similar background information and to contact any and all references I have given. I hereby release all parties and persons connected with any such request for information from all claims, liabilities, and damages for any reason arising out of the furnishing of such information.
I understand that, if given a verbal offer of employment, Housing Hope’s representatives will request and consider a report of my criminal history in accordance with state law.
If employed, I understand that I must furnish proof of my identity and legal right to work in the U.S. in compliance with the IRC Act of 1986. I further understand that, if I am employed, I am required to abide by all policies and procedures of Housing Hope.
In consideration of my employment, I agree that my employment and compensation can be terminated with or without cause and with or without notice at any time, at the option of either Housing Hope or myself.
