Goals are part of every aspect of work, life, and the job search process. They provide a sense of direction, motivation, a clear focus, and allow us to clarify the importance of what we want to accomplish. By setting goals, you are providing yourself with a target to focus on. S.M.A.R.T goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely) are used to help guide goal setting. Connecting your goals to a well-managed plan is a recipe for progress and ultimately, success!
