Families are the fastest growing segment of the homeless population in Snohomish County . The causes of family homelessness are many and the opportunities for recovery are few. Housing Hope provides local homeless families with both desperately needed temporary housing and essential life-changing services. These linked elements allow struggling families to stabilize their living situations, recover from the traumas of homelessness and begin moving forward to self-sufficiency. The homeless program features:

• Emergency Shelter in a safe environment for entire families for up to 60 days
• Transitional Housing lasting up to two years for families committed to a better future
• Intensive Case Management with tailored plans for each family and weekly in-home visits
• Employment Counseling covering job search, interview skills and job retention
• Basic Health Plan insurance access for families through subsidized premiums
