Our Mission Statement: “Housing Hope shall promote and provide a continuum of safe, decent, affordable housing and necessary related services for low and very low income residents of Snohomish County and Camano Island."
Our Purpose: Housing Hope was founded in 1987 by concerned local citizens to offer effective solutions to local problems of homelessness and affordable housing. Housing Hope’s goal is to provide a supportive environment that combines a range of affordable housing options with services and opportunities to help families overcome or avoid homelessness.
Our Approach: Housing Hope helps families stabilize, regain hope, build necessary skills and acquire resources for a better future. In existence for 19 years, Housing Hope now owns and operates 273 affordable housing units at sites throughout Snohomish County, provides childcare for hundreds of local homeless children annually and has assisted 193 low-income families to home ownership.
