Housing Hope owns and operates over 150 affordable-rent units throughout Snohomish County, giving families with low incomes safe and decent housing.
     
 
Owner/Builders construct the floor of their new home.  Using their labor as down payment, this low income family will soon realize the dream of owning their own home.
 
     
Basic Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following loan criteria:

  • Minimum income of approximately $32,000 +/- per year, depending on loan amount.
  • Not to exceed USDA Income Limits (adjusted annually)
1 person $43,050 2 people $49,200
3 people $55,350 4 people $61,500
5 people $66,400 6 people $71,350

  • Not currently a homeowner.
  • Meet basic credit standards and debt ratios.
  • With your helpers, contribute a minimum of 30 hours of labor per week.
  • Willing to work with the other Building Group households until all homes are done.
  • Have US citizenship or acceptable immigration status.
